Little Village Learning is a home-based family childcare provider dedicated to fostering a love for nature, exploration, and hands-on learning in young children. Nestled in the heart of historic Mount Rainier, Maryland, Little Village offers an environment where children are encouraged to explore the outdoors daily, to engage in creative play, and to develop a sense of self and community.
We emphasize child-led learning, allowing each child to follow their curiosities and interests while developing essential skills in problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. With a strong focus on environmental stewardship, social-emotional growth, and physical well-being, Little Village creates a nurturing, inclusive community that celebrates the unique qualities of every child. Here, learning is not confined to a classroom but instead flourishes in the fresh air, under the shade of trees, and in the heart of our community.
